It started with a December proposal and a love of Ginori.
When Claire came to Hosted by Kelly Gaudreau, she already had her eye on Ginori 1735’s Meringa pattern. From there, we worked together over Zoom to create a curated wedding registry with a few unexpected pairings, beautiful everyday pieces and plenty of room for their life together.
Claire and Hank married on October 3, 2026, at The Creek in Locust Valley, New York. Here’s a look at the registry we helped them put together, from their first favourite pattern to the pieces that made it feel like theirs.

A Ginori wedding registry, with a few surprises
Having a starting point you love is a very good thing. For Claire, that was Meringa.
During our first Zoom call, we brought in a few unexpected pieces to test the waters. We loved the pattern she had chosen, and wanted to explore what could sit alongside it.
Enter the Oriente Italiano Charger Plate in Castagna, the Ginori Labirinto Dessert Plate and the Pervinca Oriente Italiano Bread and Butter Plate. Together, they opened up new possibilities for mixing patterns and building a place setting with personality.
This is one of our favourite parts of designing a wedding registry: showing you a combination you might never have thought to try, then watching it click.
A beloved pattern can be the beginning of your table. There’s room to make the rest your own.

Have a favourite pattern in mind? We’d love to see it.

Wine glasses for dinner parties and a very good Friday night
For glassware, we selected NUDE Stem Zero Volcano glasses for red and white wine, along with stemless glasses. They’re equally at home beside a carefully considered place setting or in your hand on the couch after a long week. A glass of red deserves a good glass, even when dinner comes in a takeout container.
We like choosing pieces with that kind of range. Your wedding registry should make sense for the evenings you plan beautifully and the ones you barely plan at all.

Everyday dinnerware you actually look forward to using
For Claire and Hank’s everyday table, we selected the Paulette Woven Dinner Plate in Sage, paired with the Wood Round Placemat in Natural and a Faux Tortoise 5-Piece Cutlery Set.
The sage, natural wood and tortoise brought a different mood to the table: relaxed, layered and ready for regular use. We also pulled tablecloths and napkins for both formal and everyday settings. Changing the linens gives familiar pieces a fresh setting, whether you’re having friends over or sitting down together on a Tuesday.
Everyday dinnerware deserves just as much thought as the pieces you bring out for a celebration. After all, it’s the table you’ll sit down to most!

The pieces that bring the whole registry together
Beyond the place settings, we brought in a mix of Ginori and hand-painted platters, along with oversized candles for their home.
Serving pieces, linens and candlelight help connect the individual selections. They give you ways to put a table together, change it up and enjoy what you have.
At Hosted by Kelly Gaudreau, we source from established brands and small, one-person shops around the world. Sometimes the right piece comes from a name you’ve loved for years. Sometimes it comes from a maker you’re about to discover.
For Claire and Hank, that approach gave us room to build around Ginori while bringing in pieces with a character of their own.

What a personally curated wedding registry looks like
A curated wedding registry starts with a conversation about your taste, your home and how you like to host. From there, we help you choose pieces that work together and feel right for the way you live.
At HOSTED by Kelly Gaudreau, we offer that personal experience in our Locust Valley shoppe on Long Island or virtually over Zoom.
You can come to us with a favourite pattern, a few saved images or an idea you haven’t quite figured out how to describe. We’ll help you explore the possibilities, introduce pairings and refine the selections together.
Claire’s love of Meringa gave us our starting point. The unexpected combinations, everyday settings and finishing touches made the registry personal.

Wedding registry questions, answered
Can someone help me design my wedding registry?
Yes. Hosted by Kelly Gaudreau offers personal wedding registry curation, helping you select dinnerware, glassware, flatware, linens, serving pieces and home accents that work together. We start with your preferences and refine the selections with you.
Can I create a curated wedding registry over Zoom?
Yes. Hosted offers virtual registry appointments over Zoom, as well as in-person appointments at our Locust Valley, New York, shoppe. You can explore ideas and review selections with our team virtually.
Can I mix Ginori patterns in my wedding registry?
Yes. Mixing Ginori patterns is one way to make your table feel personal. For Claire and Hank, we brought Labirinto and Pervinca Oriente Italiano plates into the conversation alongside Claire’s initial favourite, Meringa.
How does Hosted’s credit-based wedding registry work?
Guests purchase gifts from your registry, and those gifts become Hosted store credit. When you’re ready to redeem your registry funds, you finalise your selections and allocate the credit toward the pieces you choose.
Can Hosted source registry pieces beyond its website?
Yes. We source from well-known brands and small independent makers around the world. During the curation process, we can explore pieces beyond the selections you see online.
